Kathe sent me an e-mail, quoting from a blog she'd read today. The blogger claimed that three candidates for office in three Texas counties each received the same number of votes -- an event more than merely unlikely. She sent this to me under the headline "Is this true?"

So, I Googled a few variations, and there it was: 18,181 votes.
